Once you have registered for scripts and/or Direct via 'my Account' and your registration has been approved (via email), you can download the Desktop Ticker

Select your own preferences.
Docked Up/Down: Choose whether to have the Desktop Ticker at the top or bottom of your screen.
Scroll Speed: Select between Slow, Medium or Fast.
Uninstall: Remove the Desktop Ticker.
Open at Startup: Click on to enable (tick)/disable (clear tick).
Exit: Closes the Desktop Ticker.

The Desktop Ticker automatically updates scripts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
To view a script, click on it and it will launch in a popup window - you can then print, save as HTML or save as text.
Please note: You cannot email the script in this view. To email scripts, please open the Scripts & Text website, locate the relevant script and select 'Email'.
Service Settings: Select, from your scripts subscription, what you view.
Scripts and Text Website: Launches the Scripts & Text website.

The Desktop Ticker automatically updates Direct ‘On Now’ content information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Direct Alerts, communicated via the Direct Content Managers, will ensure you are kept up-to-date with the latest developments and announcements.
To clear the Direct Alerts, click on the Direct Alert popup window.
Use the Direct drop-down to:
View Last Alert: The last alert sent via the Direct Content Manager.
Show Alerts: Click on to enable (tick)/disable (clear tick) Direct Alerts.
Direct Online: Launches the Direct website.
Message Board: Launches the interactive message board.
Contact Details: Launches the Direct Content Manager’s telephone number and email address.

News Alerts, communicated via our London Newsroom, will ensure you are kept up-to-date with the latest developments and announcements.
To clear the News Alerts, click on the News Alert popup window.
View Last Alert: The last alert sent via the Newsroom.
Show Alerts: Click on to enable (tick)/disable (clear tick) News Alerts.
Today: Launches the latest cover plans for the day's major running News stories (including key frames), promotes the best video of the day (including key frames), highlights the stories coming up in the next News bulletin, and Newsroom contact details.
Outlook: Launches the latest 12-hour Outlook - updated four times daily (0100, 0600, 1300 and 1800 GMT).

Events: Breaking news events/special events and available operational support (live positions, editing, satellite transmissions, etc). To view an event, click on it and it will launch in a popup window. Book or request a ratecard for the event online.
Facilities: View available facilities (live positions, editing, satellite transmissions, fibre routes, crewing, etc) by location. Book or enquire online.
Events: Launches the Events web page.
Facilities: Launches the Broadcast Facilities web page.
Fibre Routes: Launches the Connect web page.
Contact Details: Launches Broadcast Services contacts worldwide.
